Liebeskind Berlin

Casual designs in a modern loft environment

The German fashion label Liebeskind Berlin has been selling bags, leather accessories and shoes with a modern used look since 2003. Inspired by the capital itself, the label presents itself in its usual casual style and creates designs with urban city flair. For the nationwide fit-out of all stores in Germany, a coherent room concept was to be created according to specified design drafts in the areas of drywall construction, wall design and floor surfaces, which takes up the style of the extraordinary collections without distracting from the products. A loft-like design seemed to be the perfect symbiosis of modern architecture and trendy shabby chic elements.

Liebeskind Berlin – Shop fitting with unfinished-looking construction measures

The dominant feature of the renovation work carried out in all the stores is the skillful use of unfinished-looking construction measures, such as unplastered walls, visible weld seams, poured floors and protruding screws and rivets. Purist furniture made of heavy metals creates an authentic loft character even in small spaces. A particular eye-catcher are the rusty walls, which give each restaurant a particularly individual look due to their random texture and color. They also create a warmer image in the otherwise rather cool direct surroundings. Unglazed display cabinets made of wood and concrete divide up large areas optimally and offer sufficient storage space for the entire collection alongside the shelves. At the same time, they serve as anchor points for equalizing high visitor volumes.
